More Than Paper

FOLLOW OUR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR THE LATEST AT CDM PHOTO STUDIO!!!

Click under each category as this will remain the first post on the blog regardless of what the "posting date" says.

I had to post this very important link(click here)! Bride Nykia Hannah saw it and sent it my way... I was moved to many tears and was so affirmed in what God has blessed me with... the opportunity in which I can give you priceless images. My heart bursts and I am so fired up to continue serving behind the camera! I plan on printing this post and keeping it above my computer so that as I edit all of my dear clients photographs I can be reminded as to just how much delicate care & time I should take as they are "More than Paper".  Ever since autumn 2011 I have been overly flooded with clients via word of mouth, SO HONORED! Wedding after wedding plus family shoots and you add in wrangling my 3 loves in the pics below from our 5-year anniversary shoot (May 2012), it's constantly trying to balance work & life! I apologize that I have not been able to get everyone's posts up yet as making sure that clients get their priceless proofs as quick as possible takes precedence, but I'm excited to say that I managed to put up one new post per day in June 2013! Many thanks to all of you & I pray all of you continue being blessed as the years go by!

The Clouse Family

Feels likes Tinley's newborn shoot was just yesterday, but here we were 19 months later headed out for some family portraits at Cagle's Family Farm! Turns out that even though she has grown so much, she still likes to stick her tongue out at me! We weren't sure whose eyes she would have back then, but it is crystal clear to see that they are Scott's blue instead of Dee's green! She can be very shy but when you get her running around then she is all giggles and smiles! I let her partake when she wanted and the rest of time I made sure to catch some couple shots!

Danielle + Patrick = The Greens 06.01.13

I think this wedding may have been the most intense as far as the anticipation... Just a few weeks prior to the BIG DAY, I received a phone call from Danielle that you never want to get "My venue just burned down to the ground!" My heart just broke for her and I quickly started offering up any back up plan I could muster up! Once the venue contacted her, we found out that they would be rebuilding just barely in time for her date! The Walter's Barn was about about 90% complete and looked like a complete muddy construction site on the day of her rehearsal! They literally were laying the sod when then arrived for the run-through the night before! So crazy! The only things that were amiss were that the new barn wood wasn't stained, barn doors were not complete, and the overhead balcony was not complete so we would only miss out on that photo-op! Luckily the property is beautiful and there was plenty of areas to take amazing pics! They were both their easy-going selves, just like the day of their engagement pics in the fall, so we let the good times roll as well as the camera clicks! It was a super sweet ceremony with stunning "Green" scenery and the reception has littered with some dancing fools! Key details I remember were Patrick's awesome "No Ugly Crying" hankercheif, Danielle's unique sloped dress bustle, stunning orchid bouquet, and the cutest "Ring Security" t-shirt for the most adorable ring bearer ever!
