Expecting #1! ~ The Patricks

Back in August when we first did their pregnancy reveal session, we didn't have any clue as to if we would be expecting a girl or a boy... IT'S A GIRL and her name is KATE! Generally speaking, maternity shoots are done between 32-36 weeks. Stephanie came into the studio at 34 weeks and her little belly was so small that I had to have her flex and push it out in every shot! So even though we had planned for outdoor pics at their new piece of land, we pushed that back until she was 37 weeks. This post has both their March 10th & March 28th outdoor pics, since they also have a post documenting both baby showers. Don't miss the perfect detail of the "K" on her koutoure jeans in the studio pics! Their outdoor shoot was accented by a rare old antique carriage they had purchased at an auction and had reupholstered in neutral tones. They vision was to have "old meet new" and "classic yet modern" and I would say they are some of my favorites! I can't wait for her newborn pics, and have to wonder if she will arrive on her estimated due date of 4/15 or the oops in the clock picture where the hand shifted to 4/14!

In the midst of all things pregnancy it's important to have a good time and a glass of milk! Milk??? Yes, milk! That's all this mom-to-be wanted present at her baby showers! So she got her wish as well as tons of gifts for whenever baby Kate arrives! Between the two showers that were documented, I think this little girl could open her own baby supply store complete with a camo backpack! Guests enjoyed great food (best spinach dip & red velvet cheese ball), games (decorating onesies & daddy diaper change competition), and who could forget the beef jerky party favors! Now we just need to get her maternity portraits finished up!
