Saturday with the Spears!

It was a perfect Saturday at Rope Mill Park with the Spears family! I love it when clients come back year after year for their family pics; it's so neat to see how the kids have grown and changed since the prior year!

 

Kelly + Danny = The Sierras 9.23.11

With a quick engagement, these two love birds tied the knot only 5 weeks after we shot their engagement session! It was a day filled with lots of laughter and sweet moments, but for me this will always be the one wedding that made me cry like a baby! Because of the ceremony site setup, I had to be behind the arbor under which they were doing their vows and I was the only one who had a view of their faces. In the time just after communion, while the song finished out,  Danny leaned over to Kelly and started whispering prayers to her... OMG, IT WAS BREATHTAKING! I literally took the shot and then my eyes filled with tears so bad that I had to duck down behind the bushes for a good minute to get myself together! Alas, they are truly soul mates and that picture will forever be one of my favorites along with the ones of Kelly opening the letter that Danny wrote her, the one where she gets so excited putting on her dress, and all of the ones where Danny looks at her like he as just won the best prize in the world!
